On Saturday, July 20th NMRCC will meet in Abq. for a 1/10 Scale RC Tough Truck Competition with 1.9 and 2.2 classes available. There will not be any water hazards so waterproofing will not be necessary.
Scheduled events are:
OBSTACLE COURSE
HILL CLIMB
ROCK PILE
FRAME TWISTER
TRACTOR PULL

Entry fee is $10 per vehicle.
Every entry has an equal chance to win an Axial SCX10 Jeep Rubicon kit that will be drawn for at random that was gratuitously provided by Full Throttle Hobby Shop and Raceway.
There will be trophies for 1st-3rd places for both classes.
We will be at Beaver Town at 9:30AM. Take Central Ave. East of Tramway to a dirt parking lot just east of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Approx. 1/10 of a mile East if Tramway.
This will be an outdoor event so bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
All are welcome!

Come on kids post up. I know everybody thinks that their rigs are bad ass....so put up or shut up. This event is going to test ur so called bad ass truck. Besides it'll be Hella fun.

You are correct sir but not many of us big city boys are set up for that. I made sure not to call it a Top Truck Challenge for that reason.
Maybe this event will inspire and we can include that in the future.

Like to start early to avoid the peak heat, thinking 9:30 in the AM on Saturday.

Hope you can bring a nice 4-corners crowd down with you.
