NMRCC G6 comp 9/21/13

Yes it's true, it's time for a G6.

Event: The event will consist of 150-200 gates. The trail we are taking is just under 1 mile round trip. Remember, wear GOOD shoes. There will be a checkpoint at the half way mark where you will receive a sticker, you will then return back to the start. Head on head collisions? Hopefully:mrgreen: First person back will be announced the winner.

We are going solely off of a Honors system. If you really want to cheat at a toy truck event, go right ahead. But there will be plenty of eyes out there watching and your conscience will be haunting you for eternity:evil:

Trophies: Some of the best looking (and tasting) you will ever receive:mrgreen:

Giveaways: Nada! This is meant to be our "relaxed" event. We will do plenty in the upcoming events.

Location: We are going up a small trail in he Sandia's. The parking is:

The first parking lot AFTER Doc Long picnic site. It is on the left side of the road when heading up, it is very easy to see. Parking is very easy and we shouldnt have any problems with space. We are not parking in a paved lot with signs, but since we are in a national forest I reccomend buying a parking pass down at the Doc Long spot. Put your $3 in the box, hang the tag on your mirror, and don't worry about a ticket! Easy! If you don't want to it is your choice, but I think $3 is easier than a ticket.

If you guys have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Time: 10:00 am start time. Not much setup for this event so we should be ready to rock at 10:00.

Classes: First off, I want to say ALL are welcome to join. We are running 1.9 and 2.2 classes separately. 1.55's are welcome to join in the 1.9 class.

Misc: A full run shouldn't take any longer than 20-30minutes. Remember, this is more of a distance contest more than Anything. Prepare your trucks and yourself. Like said good shoes are recommended and carrying a bottle of water isn't the worst idea either.

We will go more in depth on the rules out there. Not much to go over but just want to make sure everything is as clear as agua.

Yes, I am done now:mrgreen: See you all out there! Remember, this is for FUN

Due to the recent weather I have traded all of my land RCs for an RC boat. Cool I run that in the G6?????:ror:

msd44 09-16-2013 06:55 AM

Lol. I think I need to start looking at waterproofing my rig(s).

Funny enough I started waterproofing before the rain started. Coincidence? IDK

I also had an idea, would you mind if the children ran separate? if enough show up. I think it would make it funner for them. If not no big deal.

Re: NMRCC G6 comp 9/21/13

Their safety is the most important thing. The trail is primarily along a hill slope which goes up and then down. We will then turn around and come back. I think running them separate is the parents judgement call but we don't want anyone to get hurt. We welcome the younger crowd and want them to have fun also.

Perhaps we could run them between the 1.9 and 2.2 classes. After the two classes is another option. Hittman is the lead on this event so I defer to him.

Recommend good footwear. "thumbsup"

Like MA said that would be perfectly fine. I think between classes would work well. And there again that is if there is enough youngins there. The trail is very well maintained but you will need to watch your step. Like said many times wear good shoes and you won't have problems.

See you there"thumbsup"
