So are you thinking five courses per class??? Or three courses and a shootout?? Just wondering how many battery PACs will be needed?

I am leaning towards 3 course and the top 4 do a shootout course. I dont know how long you guys are going to want to be out on the rock we will be hitting about 110 degrees by that time.


There is already a thread asking about ideas we will see about what everyone thinks.

I will also follow up on the last few details today, and post more details between today and friday.

You've all heard it takes a villge to raise a baby.......and something like a State Comp is not a one man job either. Time for some Volunteers starting with me.

Mike Hitt/Abq. I would like to be photograph the event and post the pics. I also can set up/take down ccourses, deliver cold water, pick up trash, run time or whatever's needed.

Let us know how we can help Jorge. We don't expect you to do it all.

People count was submitted yesterday, I should have all the supplies by the weekend, chalk, timers, and so on. Entry fees and other details by Monday. I will also post paypal addy for shirts and caps. Thanks for offering all the help it should be a great event.

There are grills at park, but there are a host of restaurant withing 10min of the comp spot. I would recommend a good breakfast, snacks and we could all go for dinner afterwards.

Ok guys I will need to collect the shirt and cap money by wednesday please send money thru Paypal to coquis71.1@juno.com Please include the shirt size and the name wanted on shirt. As far as shirt sizes go the shirts are from walmart the dickies work wear shirts.

I will post the itinerary on friday but here is a preliminary:

Friday the 27th
10am to 12pm I will be out at the exact location to start setting up for the G6 and pick the area for the comp rigs.
1pm Quick lunch at WHATABURGER
2pm to 4pm trip to Sportmens Elite indoor shooting range
If anyone needs anything we can go to the hobby shop and pick it up or do the repair.
6pm Dinner at the Sunland Park Casino

Saturday the 28th
Meet at 8am at the crawl location
9am tech rigs and start building courses
10am start running courses
12am build courses for shafties and start running
2pm pass out trophies
3pm to 5pm G6
7pm dinner at Rudy's or State Line
