NMRCC 2014 Scale Season Event #1 G6

Date: Saturday, July 19th

Running 2.2 and 1.9 scale class rigs

Time: Meeting in the parking lot at 7:45pm, event will start 8:00-8:15pm. It will be partially in the dark.. So have those lights ready!

This will be a gated G6 event. Much like last year. We will have a starting point and around 50-75 gates you must pass through. The trail will be a loop. This is timed, this is a race. Wear good shoes! We will try our best not to make the trail any longer than 1mile ROUND trip.

There is no longer a BBQ before the event. The event starts at 8:00.. That gives everyone plenty of time to eat before.

This event is the first big event of the scale season. It would be awesome to have a huge turnout.

Entry fee: $5 per class
This is something new for this season. The reason we are doing this is because we want to have bigger and better giveaways. All money collected goes to the club to find giveaways, club supplies, ect.. NONE of the money get pocketed by ANYONE. The more money we get in the club, the better and bigger we can grow.

Giveaway: There will not be a giveaway this event. With the money we collect from entry fees, we can start buying things for the next events and get the giveaways going.

We hope to see everyone out there. Hopefully some new people, hopefully some returning members. All are welcome to join. And remember.. This is all for FUN

Map and location are posted. This is a killer spot. Going to be a blast!!!

Please be in the parking lot at 7:45 or before. We will walk over to the event area, set stuff down, then walk the course. It is fairly simple to follow, and the gates will be visible even after dark. But, we feel it is best for everyone to have a general idea where they are going.

The first class will start at 8:30-8:45, this class will have some light.. The event should take no longer than 15minutes to run. The second class will start 10-15minutes after the second one finishes. This class will be in mostly dark. The catch is we dont know what class will run first or last. So no matter what class you run in, be prepared, because you will need some type of lights on your rig.

Remember, the larger turnout we have at these events, the more events we will do. We will not keep doing these type of events if the same 5-6 guys show up. I know for a fact that there is a solid 14-15 people that could be running every event. Remember, Better turnout means better and bigger events which leads to better and bigger giveaways and raffles. Got my G6 ready, got the honcho awaiting lights for miss Farah. Hopefully will have a game changer in 2.2.....if not the KOH champion from last year will head up my 2.2 division. Hope to have a good turnout, come out and let's have some fun.
