Lets see those 2014/2015 Comp Rigs

2013/2014 was my second year of competition crawling in the Sportsman Class and the El Nino was a big improvement over my 2012 season Losi. The El Nino is a good chassis and I had a competitive rig last year for sure but I had an opportunity to pick up a CCC Boxer Chassis and Trans in the off-season so year three of competition brings my third new rig. I am really excited about this rig and this up coming season.





I wanted something that lookes completely different than my typical black with red or red with black color schemes so I started at the wheels. Dlux's new weight system is unlike anything I have seen, the weights actually ride inside of the tire to get that CG way down there, look close.







From last years rig to this one, my Holms Hobbies custom motor w/ BRXL and Futaba Rx and Servo and no, that blue does not fit in.



My narrowed Silvers went on those new yellow rims because Voodoos are a MUST Have.

Unfortunately my new Y town crawler Villain is not picture worthy yet. Looks good buddy

The new rig did great for a first time out registering a -77 on three courses.

I was left feeling the new rig needs a name. I thought about what it was made up of; Ottsix Voodoos, CCC Chassis, Dlux weight system and rims... there it was,
O.C.D. the OCD Sporty. That's definitely my rig.
