Default New yorkers sound off

Ok. So I know of a couple of people in NY and we all seem to be spread out. I just wanted to get an updated list of where we all are and maybe we can get a trail run going. I'm from just north of albany.

Yeah, Lake Desolation here (Saratoga Springs). Jamboree, I didn't get out at all last year, but this year is looking much better. I have gotten more done in the last two weeks on my projects than in the last year.

I will be lurking here occasionally...

Where are you, crawlinslow?

I only got out with my 1:1 last year and I've spent the last several weeks converting my E-maxx from stock to a torsion rig.

Maxx thread

I haven't upload the most recent pics yet, but I should get some work done again this weekend.

There's an old flax seed mill in Malta way in the back of Shenentahah Creek Park, just off East Line Road. The park is closed until spring, I think, but there are some big boulders and a streambed back there. Could make a nice small crawling spot. There's also a low rock wall in the back of the park that looks like it could be fun for a few minutes.

Yeah, between Toga, Troy, Albany etc, I bet there are hundreds of places to crawl. That is one of the best things for me is that you don't need a groomed track or special place to run.

Let's stay in communicato through spring and set some get together dates finalized to motivate us alll......

The Maxx looks good Jamboree!

I am all 1.9 and 2.2 here. I should try tog et some project pics up....

I've got a 2.2 comp in process and a couple 1.9ers. I'm going to spend a couple hours next week scouting. I'll let you guys know.

Got any pics of your maxx? PM me a couple or a link to your build thread. I'd like to see how you mounted the body.

Thanks.
