Not much to tell Eric, I've only been in the hobby a couple of years so I still have much to learn. Besides having my Wraith, I also have a Redcat RS10 and a Traxxas Stampede.

Cool..well I'm always willing to help people out if you have any questions. Just got back from Pixley Falls State park. At first I thought it was going to be limited on fun but after exploring, it has alot to offer. See if I can post some pics

Hello Rick and Eric!

I've got a stock Summit, a Bully, MRC, and a Micro, but I know a couple guys with scalers who'd likely be interested. I'll try to hunt them down.

The woodland around Green Lakes would be decent for a scale run of many types. However I don't recall there being much exposed rock there. The facilities in that park are fantastic in any case.

There's a few good crawling spots in this area, and quite a few places for scaler runs. Limestone Creek did not get that name by accident, for example.

I usually head up to Oswego on Sundays, to crawl with a couple people up there. We've found a few good crawling spots on the coast - some breakwalls, some bedrock, etc. Both guys are itching to get into scalers. Perhaps one of them will see this post and reply, if he's not too scared :flipoff:

Pixley Falls State Park was pretty intense...water protection is a must but there are lines with 1-2" of water...lots of fun little trails and creek beds. Moss covered rocks are the norm. Very challenging stuff.

Looks good Eric! There are so many places to go trailling within a short distance in CNY it will be hard to choose where to go!

Hey sbb, have you ever been to Clark's Reservation? Lot's of possibilities there for sure, roots, rocks, you name it.

Not yet, but it's in my plans now, for sure. My sorties in Jamesville have been limited to the DOT rock on 173 just down from the firehouse & county penn, and also the DOT rock under the bridge just up from 481. Both of those are great for a 2.2 rig, not so great for anything else.

Oh, it is SO on, brother. No more handicap to help you keep up with us... from now on, Joe and I are both resetting our transmitters to allow left turns.

So, it looks like we have a good start on people - do Sundays work?

Sundays are good for me...Just got my newborn baby boy out of the NICU in Syracuse so I'm a little tight on the schedule. Yeah lets figure this out so we know how to get there and how to pack and stuff. Obviously each area will have a host who has been there before....feel free to check the link to my map above....mabe that will help us decide.
