I'm near Saratoga Springs, NY. I've heard of a nice rock garden at Skidmore College and I'm going to check some of the local state and muni parks. There are some nice sections of old stone walls, old mill foundations, etc close to me.

I live 20 miles East of Rochester and found a great place to run in the Penfield/Panorama area. More of a trail run with some nice size rocks n stuff.

I'm in Rochester(Charlotteto be specific) and know that Cobbs hill park is a great place for a trail run, especially after rain... minimal rocks, but the terrain is nice, bunch of good places for hill climbs as well.
