| Has anyone ever made a Brushless wheely King with an extended Wheelbase for added handling? How did it handle with the extended wheel base and how does it hold up? Also, I noticed that it has a 2 year warranty. What kind of warranty is this? Break a part and it's replaced (that would be awesome if it is)? - HPI123 |

| The warranty wont cover any broken parts, only defects that could have come from bad assembly, etc on HPI's part. An extended wheelbase will increase stability when climbing up a hill and on descents but wont make much a difference on its cornering ability I wouldnt imagine. Probably about as tight as you could get a WK would be to run the suspension sway bar in the front as well as the back. Bringing all the heavy stuff down like the battery and transmission is where the big side to side stability improvements are. I havent seen a 'Speed WK' but its possible, like anything else. Lower it substantially, stiffer springs, maybe some more performance oriented tires, tighter steering setup, etc. It would make for an interesting project. | I'm kinda working my way there. I have a 20t in it with 24t/90t gears and its pretty zippy, and handling isn't all too bad on loose dirt. I eventually plan on stretching it and maybe dropping in a VXL system. 1: Get some wheels with a greater offset or some spacers. 2: Lower it |
