You can probably find some previous posts regarding this topic, or read up on other people's setups by searching for "what shock oil", "best shock oil", or even just "shock oil" to get a broader range of results.

That being said, it's hard to just tell you what is the best for you. It depends greatly on the particulars of your rig - i.e. weight, suspension geometry, and how your shocks are set up (springs and pistons). I'd say start with a light/midrange weight, like 30wt or 40wt, and go from there.

As for the Roto-start motor - it's a silver can, right? If it's 540 size, it's probably close to 27t.

Touchy subject. If your shocks are to long they are not going to work for your setup. Dont be afraid to let that chassis drop some. In other words it does not need to look lifted just to work well. Play with softer springs and lighter weight fluid until you find what works well with your driving style(s). Do be afraid to spend a few bucks until you find the right fluid and then go after the springs later for a finer tune of the suspension.

they will work its just that they are wayyy to long..the stock wk ones are 120mm fully extended and the savage ones are 172mm fully extended or in other words the wk shocks are 4.72 inches and the savage ones are 6.77 inches..for shock oil id suggest 15 or 20wt
