I recently picked up a wheely king. If I charge the battery and let is sit over night, even unplugged, the battery drains..... any ideas???

It sounds like the pack may be damaged or the charger is not peaking it properly. Are you using the Wheely King RTR charger? If so you may try another charger preferably one that shows you what is going on with the pack like the Ice or Triton.

The Ice is a great charger ($140) but you will need a 12 volt 7 amp power supply to run it. The prophet plus LCD ($75) is a bit cheaper and runs both AC and DC but it won't do LiPo packs. I have no experiance with the Triton. I like the Ice my self but the Prophet Plus LCD is a good option for the $$.

Every stock wk batt. i have had(3) went bad. I was charging them with a MRC superbrain 989. Look at it as a time to buy some upgraded batts(and charger).

I destroyed my WK battery by forgetting I pluged it in and left it for 1.5 days, It's gone to battery heaven now... how old is your battery? did you perhaps leave it on the charger too long?
