I can now place one tire atop a 10" obstruction with the other three on the ground, with roughly a 13" WB I think that is pretty good. I used mainly just the USA-1 gearboxes, lower control arms, hubs...replaced cheesy original upper control arms with 1/2" x 1/2" aluminum c-channel that attaches to stock mounting points on the gearboxes thus resulting in an "arched" solid axle housing, which has better ground clearance than my clodbuster with the same size tires. I am currently trying to decide what to do about the cheesy stock axle shafts. BTW how do you post pics on here? | |

I remember someone using what looked like Traxxas sliders (not sure what truck they are from) on a USA-1, but will they work with stock outer hub/carrier?
