was wondering what I should use for a radio sytem in my AX10. I have been looking at the spektrum dx3 system because I may go with a rear steer in the future and I may get a second receiver for my HPI Savage. is this overkill for a crawler? I am currently running the futaba system from my savage and it seems to be a little glitchy.

The DX3 is an AWESOME set up for a 2.2. Works like a champ. The 3rd channle can be used for front dig.....or rear steer if you REALLY think it's needed. It ain't legal though, just incase your gonna compete.

yeah, i am going with the straigh axle from RCP for now but wanted to keep my options open in case i want to add the dig or rear steer. I guess I'll have to keep watching ebay for a good deal!

The DX3 is great, and can be found relatively cheap with a receiver for around $100 now. They have any and all features you'll ever need for a crawler, I think...

What ever you buy you'll need a 3rd channel for dig sooner or later. I have Airtronics MX-3
