Default Reverse only slow/ not as fast as forward

I installed the Novak Rooster Crawler/55T Motor Combo and soldered the connections on as described in the instuctions, with the capasitors in the correct placement. It is alot slower while going in reverse than it is going forward. Any suggestions?

I did mess with my radio and nothing changes it.

Thanks

Same problem with integy 65T motor and Traxxas XL-5 ESC....almost too slow to even crawl on anything in reverse.....so I had to program my ESC for an aftermarket radio/reciever. Are you using an aftermarket radio? Check your manual for your ESC and see what it says about programming your ESC with an aftermarket radio if you are using one.

Check your throttle EPA's on your controller. EPA's on your controller might be set different for forward and reverse.

EDIT:
OOPS, guess I should read the whole thing.

I still think the ESC has to be programmed for your reciever. Thats all it was for me.

I will check that out first. I will update if that fixes it or not. Thank you
