Tires, and Chassis

Hey guys, Im new here but im not new to RC.

However this is my first crawler, and it seemed like a good place to start. So heres what I have currently, I got it like 3 days ago.

Ax10
Hitec HS645MG Servo
Rooster Crawler ESC
Integy 50T Lathe Motor
Traxxas TQ3
6oz of lead weighs stuck to the rims on each tire

Here is what I have ordered and is on the way

Split battery plates for front axle
2 split batterys 6 cells
Axial Bent lower control arms
HPI Yellow springs
Baja Bug Body

Im going to be ordering the Losi Rock Claws soon, becuause I know they are nasty on the rocks! What kinds of foam should I run with them? Should the foam be cut up? Im looking for some serious tire flex to get the most traction possible.

Also, im thinking about the TCS Edge Chassis, I love buggys, and I think it would be a sick add on to this truck. Anyone know where else I can get one other than the TCS Site, they are on "pre-order" becuase they are backordered.

try one of the memory foam products out there for the claws. You will like any of them. If you want serious tire flex, leave out the foams completely(not recommended)

you answered your own question on the edge. It is a tcs specific product, gonna have to wait til they get in stock.:-(
