Default Rear Stear Only

Couple days ago my output-shaft gear on the front steering sevo split in halve and was unfixable. to solve said problem i just hi-jacked another servo from another rc. problem solved.

but while fussing with the ax-10, (which is open in front, locked in back), i thought to myself this could happn again where i am wheeling around and knock into something head on with the servo by accident.

so to the point

I reversed the throttle on the radio
and 180'd the body on the Rc

so know its basically driving backwards
and with rear stear and a open diff in back
and the locked axle and no servo upfront to damage, in the front of the RC

dont know if this is common practice as im new to K-rawling
but im real pleased with it
locked diff upfront really bites into obstacles better then the open diff
kinda fun and unique to have just the rear stear
and overall spices up the expierence

One big question?
Im not harming the tranny or motor in anyway operating like this am I?

crawl on you crazy diamond
wooty Mcwoot woot out

...shouldnt harm it at all...Should go just fine...I too drove my truck BACKWARDS the other day and it was just as much fun as forwards and interesting to see how it performed differently...

...The more i read the posts on this site the more i begin to see that whatever works for YOU is whats best for YOU...Good to hear of a differnt 'fix' though

Thnkx for the info and quick reply.

I live in a rural area so the nearest hobby shop
aint near at all, hence servo swap from other machine.
and the fix aliveates some concern of braking another servo and
then having to travel close to an hour for a lil ole servo

its hella fun driving foward and even more fun and somewhat more efficient messing around with it in the rear stear config.

thnx again for answering my ?.
