I do, although those new Flatirons look pretty tempting. I guess when these wear out...

I've still got the M3's mounted to the crawler. I'm working on a somewhat new idea with my M2's just need a few more and they'll be ready to test. Also working on an idea for the M3's, trying to stiffen up the sidewalls a little...

Love mine (M3's). Stiffened the sidewall and they have become just about perfect. Just to let you know my cobra is well over 7 pounds.

These aren't mine, but I think that is great way to use moabs. I am going to try it.

These are mine, and are a great way to use moab side walls:

Well I was at ECC this past week-end and running Moabs. They really didn't fair all that well, Rock Claws were certainly the tire of choice and to place. For backyard crawling I would stay with the Moabs but if you're wanting to compete ya may want to take a look at whats winning. (Losi Rock Claws)

Question

I'm still running mine from last winter but they seem to be drying out pretty bad since new. Any tips on grooving or softening out there? I sanded them flat again to get the hard edge back on the lugs but they still don't work like I want.

P.s. Please don't suggest new tires. I still got tread left on these so I wanna try and make them work

Don't know about grooving but to get the sticky back in them soak them in Simple Green, I put 2 tires in a big ziplock bag and sprayed Simple Green all over them, let em sit for a day or 2 and they look and feel like new.

Thanks Joe. Not a bad idea. I got in the habit of cleaning with simple but haven't tried soaking them yet. Can I be lazy and leave my axial bl's?
