Default Vf Dig Install

I RECIEVED MY VF DIG YESTERDAY AND HAVE STARTED THE INSTALL. I NOTICED A COUPLE INTERESTING THINGS. FIRST, THE WHOLE TRANS HAS TO BE FLIPPED AROUND. THIS CAN PUT YOUR WIRES IN DESTRUCTION RANGE OF THE SPUR GEAR. THEN I NOTICED THAT MY REAR PUNISHER SHAFT IS NOW TOO LONG BECAUSE OF THE ROOM THE DIG IS NOW TAKING. I TRIED TO REPLACE THEM WITH THE STOCK ONES BUT THEY ARE TOO LONG AS WELL. SO I MOVED ON TO HOOKING UP THE SERVO AND LINKAGE. GOT IT ALL HOOKED UP, MADE SURE I TURNED THE AUX EPA ADJUSTMENT WAY DOWN ON MY Tx, TURNED IT ON. IT WORKED OK FOR A SECOND, THEN THE SERVO BLEW DUE TO BINDING SOMEHOW. IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING AS MUCH FUN AS I AM?

Instructions were posted on how to set them up from the manufacturer. Have you tried searching?

ive had all sorts of minor issues. First my vf front output sheared, killed 2- 225 servos. now i made a mount for a 645 (temporary plastic, have to drill the aluminum one this weekend) and im hoping it holds up better...shifts much smoother with the 645 too

What are the odds I'd be trolling around and find this post .

Let me make this very clear. If anyone has trouble like this, figuring out how to get theirs set up correctly, PLEASE contact us directly so we can work you through it. Instead of starting random threads, come to the source or do some research to find your answers. VF encourages it's customers to let us help you through your problems. We do not want anyone to get frustrated with one of our products!

Please do not PM your problems as my pm box stays overloaded as it is. Keep in mind we are a small shop and are unable to be logged into the boards all day...if we did nothing would get done in the shop. Just shoot an email to brock@visionaryfabrication.com and we will definitely get you taken care of!

Hey Don, any chance you all will machine another servo mount? I had to ask here as this is kind of an up in the air thread. Anyway, I have no machining capabilities and would love that option. I might even throw a 5955 on tha dig if there were amount.

very easy to make a mount...all you need is a grinder (or dremel) and a drill...nothing too magical about it. Just need to cut some angle aluminum and drill a few holes and your good to go

pink-its because you can now win one if you win the coffee thing
