Default Ribicon wheelbase

I'm waiting on my Rubicon body to come in and was wondering if yall can tell me the EXACT wheelbase I need to set up for the HPI Rubicon body using 2.2 tires. I want to go ahead and cut my links and rethread them and get them bolted up while I am waiting. Thanks a lot.

I beleive it is right around 12 1/8", my wheelbase is set to 12" exactly and it fits really nice.

Great, thanks . I'm going to start cutting my Axial links down so I'll have around 12 3/32" wheelbase (hopefully wind up with a 12"-12.1" wheelbase....not building a piano). Body will get here Monday.

I'm going to cut the trans mount a little differently.
Gonna cut it where the bolts go through it to hold it to the stock chassis, but right on the other side of the beefy part, so the links will be 1/4" closer to the center. I figure it will be between the "right inside the chassis" position and the new Stage 3 trans mount position advertised on this forum.

Will this be a good position for a scale Rubicon using axial stuff and an X-trail chassis?

and:

Is it best to make the links for the X-trail the same length on the front and rear or a little longer on one end or the other?
