Yep, but it ain't no rocket motor. The first motor that I ran on my ax-10 was a different brand, but the same size and spec. I ran it with a 7.4 lipo, geared it low, and used a Quark pro-car 33. It pulled the truck up and around just fine. With the quark, it was butter smooth on start up and the drag brake halted the truck on any incline. It also ran cool. Great for slow crawling. I even snapped a stock driveshaft on my second run. The only problem appeared when I ran next to my buddy with a 55t. I didn't have half the wheelspeed he did. So... It just depends on what you want/need. Now I run a Scorpion 2215-18, (a little higher kv), and I have 3cell lipos on order. That fits in with my goal of a lightweight rig, but I admit that I sometimes I get the urge try something like a 35t warrior. Hope this helped.
