I'm running the rooster crawler combo. It's a nice setup. Good power, and brakes. I run mine on 2s lipo's and have never felt the esc get hot. The motor gets a little warm, but not hot. I would recomend this combo to anyone.

I got one for my Super rig and it's a little underpowereed for me. It's limited to 7 cells Ni-cad or 2-3 cells Li-po, as far as I know. I like it though and think it would be great in a smaller rig like the AX-10.
