Cool

The higher the turn the lower the speed.

At the same time going up in turns will give you more torque (in theory).

For example; under the same power, a 12 or 16 turn motor will be much faster, and yet have much less torque than a 65 or a 75 turn motor.

Brushed.

the higher the number will also give you more run time on your batteries` ------------------------------------------------------------------------ more torque more power is always a good thing

Also when going to a 45t to 75t motor you may need to do a little gear reduction or get a seperate gear reduction unit.

Nope, you're fine. The lower the turns, the more amperage the ESC will draw. A 12t ESC will run 12t and anything higher than that.

My vote go with the 45t, sometimes you need the wheel speed

Yeah, they suck. The reverse on it will kill you. I think it runs at about 1/10 speed in reverse. I have one in a AX-10 tuber and I can't stand it. But, it's all I have right now. It's getting put in a TC3 once my new MM/7T gets here.

well im geting the same speed in reverse... well mabye 70% anyay but no way 1/10 but i get your point... so that the thing that makes onroad esc worthless in crawl? that its not zero reverse delay and its slower in reverse that a cralwer esc? well i understand than =) and btw i've been thinking on a 45t also

Once you get the 45T in there, you will see that reverse is damn near worthless. If I could post a vid I would make one.

I'm confused are you saying reverse is worthless on a 45t motor?

X2 not sure what you are saying, Reverse in mine is perfect. Are you saying it is week or that it has too much wheel speed?

No, what I am saying is the Tazer has a shitty reverse. It is TOOO SLOW in reverse. I have an AX tuber with a 55t and an 18t pinion and it doesn't have enough wheelspeed to get me out of 75% of situations. With a 15T spinning at 40,000 RPM's reverse could be 60% and you'd be ok. Take a 55T and hit 60% reverse on a motor that only spins 6,000 RPM to begin with and you have a useless reverse. Phew. Clear as mud now?

True the tazers reverse leave you wanting more, I think they are fine on scale rigs but need a little bit more on a comp rig
