Default Wiring BEC

So I am going to run a CC BEC and a Tekin FXR. How do I wire the BEC? Do I need to disable the onboard BEC and if so HOW? Any tutorials?

When I Installed Mine I Soldered The Pos+ From The Bec To The Pos+ On The Esc To A Deans Plug . Neg The Same And Then Take The Red Wire Out Of The Esc's Rx Plug . To Adjust The Voltage You Need A Castle Link. Hope That Helped

I wire mine up the same as stated above. I always remove the red wire from the ESC's RX plug. I also cut off the on/off switch on my comp crawlers that run LiPo. I do that for two reason: first, it forces me to always unplug the pack, and second, the switch can't fail or get turned off if my truck rolls.

The cleanest install is usually to just wire it to the ESC's power wires right at the plug.

JW, why do you want a BEC with the fxr. Doesn't the internal bec already provide 6 volts?
