Anyone know what the widths of these axles? Which is stronger? Has better mounting for suspension links? Anyone know of an adapter thatll allow 23mm maxx/savage hexes? Thanks guys! Last edited by Warn Off Road; 07-14-2008 at 03:34 PM. |

I have TXTs.... stock diffs locked, MIPs Run Moab XLs no problems I think they are easy to work with and a great set of axles for 2.2s or Supers The Twins are harder to fab parts for but it can be done (ways to mount links, ect) Stronger... dont know I have seen many of both rigs with Jambo Kongs, Moab XLs... and being ran hard without breakage |

Looks like im going with TXT's, I like the 2.5 ton military styling they give off, since theyre going under a 1/6th scale truck. Itll be running 7.5" sliger on 40 series wheels, any adapters out there thatll add atleast an 1.5" of width and of course allow a 23 mm hex? Ive seen the ones on RCROCK.com, only they say cold and jug axles though, are they the same? Thanks guys! -Matt |
