Default Crawler Identification...

So I've been wandering around the site, and found some pictures of crawlers I think look purdy:

What chassis/shells are these, and who built them?

I'm sure I've seen one of them in a gallery somewhere on here, but, well, it's a needle in a haystack.

(Mad Scientist, if you want to blast me for insufficient use of the search function, I would consider it fair and just )

The bodies are most likely from Tamiya. As for the chassis... they could be a number of different ones, custom made, or also the original Tamiya one. The original was the Hilux/ Bruiser models, and the axles looked real as they were made of pot metal. The newer version that's available today has either a toyota or ford body, uses a ladder chassis, however; the axles are now made of plastic and look far from scale. If you're interested in the real scale look I'd recommend that you check out RC4WD, cause they have some of the most realistic scale parts out there. If I had the money I'd be buying their new blackwell axles, the most scale looking thing I've seen and very true to the really popular rockwell axles used in 1:1 crawlers.
