Default New Airtronics 420 Ounce Servo

Anyone heard anything about them? I work for Hobby People and get a decent discount on them and was wondering if I should use one for My tuber.
Kinda new to the crawling thing so was wondering what anyone has heard.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

420 ounces would be very interesting but 200 ounces is a little under powered for a crawler IMO.

I ordered 2 of them Yesterday, I will go in to work today and make a copy of the specs for you all. They sound very nice. and at 120$ Retail, its not that bad. Also you can see the servo in the new RC Rock Crawling magazine if you have a copy. The one with the Traxxas Crawler on the back cover. It should be like 6 pages from the end.
anyway servo info to come.

I'm running the 359's on my 2.2 and my 14r. Nice servo's. I agree,for a super,they are a bit under powered.....but they do a decent job. In a 2.2,200oz. can work very good.

I've put my 359's through some serious abuse with no issues. Tough little servo's. I've been running the same servo's for nearly 3 years. I'll be honest, one of them is a little twitchy I think the pot is going bad, while under load,it still works great though.

Would I buy another 359 if I needed one?....Yep.

I'm curious about this 420 oz. Airtronics. Would be good on my super. Heck,I wanna find a 1000 oz. 1:10 scale servo. THAT would be a crawlers servo.

Yeah I've been using the 361s since the day they were available to the public and I've only lost one gear in one of them and they've been abused very much. Very stout servos. The one in my Berg is taking 6.5 volts and it's better than ever. The one in my scaler has been under water and through mud 100s of times, and the other one is in something doing something fine.

It's been hard to resist getting another servo with more power, but I can't seem to find the need to get one.

Why would people buy this?

JR8711 is the same everywhere, price and specs...plus it has a 3 year warranty not a 90 day one. I've used Airtronics servos and found their service and support to be the worst in the servo industry.

I just figured I would pick this up seeing as all I have now is a Hitec 645mg in mine. Plus I get anything replaced since Global Hobbies owns Hobby People and Airtronics. Its on order because I ordered the only 2 our warehouse had in stock.

Thats good to know and something to think about. I think a little extra money spent on your steering servo to get about twice the power is a good bang for the buck. Besides those guys could make a shoe box work better than my rig anyway.
