Crawler Comp 1/10 scale

How does one go about entering a comp? Can I take any rig of my design as long as it meets any of the requirements for that particular event? Like could I pit a pimp cane against say a modified CR-01 or are there certain classes for each type of build? I am correct in my understanding that the 1/10 scale has certain length and width restrictions?

Here are the current official rules:

Although, you should check with your local club to make sure they use the same rules.

I always reccomend that people go out to one of the comps and get to know the members of the club and what they're running if possible before they start building a rig. You wouldn't want to build a super class rig and put all the time and money into it, only to discover that when you get to the comp, you're the only person there with a Super.

Good Advice. I'll need to look into the Carolina Crawler thread on here.
