Default brazing magnet

i just bought a magnet for holding things together while welding but got to thinking and was wondering if the open flame from the torch would damage the magnet or anything?

I had some hard drive magnets lying around I used to help braze but after enough heat they lose their power.

I have a few different welding magnets that I have been using, for over a year, to hold parts together while I braze em. They hold up well to the heat.
