Default how to wire

series and paralell, i thought one was +&+ and -&- at the plug, and one was a + from one pack and a - from the other pack and the other +&- together? if that makes any sence.

if you take 2 cells and wire the pluses together and the negs together, then put a end on it, that is in parralle.

if you wire the plus to the minus on one end of the 2 cells, and then the connector ends to the plus and the minus, that is in series.

wireing in a parralled keeps the voltage constant. ie 4 cells in series gives 1.2v, which is what 1 cell provides.

wireing in series adds the voltage of each cell. so 4 cells in parrallel willl give 4.8v.

you can also wire packs in series, then wire the packs together in parralled.

ie 8 cells, two packs of 4. each pack is wired in series, providing 4.8v
then the packs are wired together in parrallel, Plus to plus, minus to minus, you still get 4.8v, but have double the runtime.

now im not sure how wireing in series or parrallel effects amps, but it does.

i think the info above is correct, im not an expert in batterys or wireing by any means, but that should give you a basic understanding of it anyways.

Plus to Plus and Negitive to Negitive = Parallel, voltage is the same but capacity adds.

Plus to Negitive and so forth = Series, voltage adds but capacity remains the same.
