Which way to go ???? Looking to purchase a crawler. Looked at the Berg, new design and looks interesting but don't really know enough about it. I do know that it is 4 wheel stearing, but I am not sure if I want to go that route.( or should I ???) Any info on this would be a great help. Also looking at Axial, Copperhead, and Diablo. Can anyone give some feedback on these crawlers. Thanks, Neil |
Between the Axial, Copperhead and Diablo, the best buy is gonna be the Axial. Similar performance, but much cheaper. Spend the extra money on performance upgrades rather than alot of extra alloy and such... |
go with the axial. i have the artr and love it. i run the dx3r an integy 45 turn 7.2 nimh, and a sidewinder esc. My brother has the rtr and he has just been upgrading his and it does great. Both are great buys |

If I were you I would go both ways."thumbsup" |
go with the cheapest and upgrade as you brake things.axial |
The berg isn't necessarily 4 wheel steering unless you want it to be. It is set up just like the axial in the sense that it has knuckles front and rear so that you have that option if you so choose. It comes stock with turnbuckles that you can remove and add in a rear steering system and servo. |

Anyone run the copperhaed or Diablo from rc4wd? How do they compare? The Berg seems to do very well overall. |
I have a berg and a ax10 from kit and for a first crawler i'd go axial, it can work out cheaper than a berg and if you go the ARTR it comes with silver 8shooter type wheels, bent links and a decent body that doesn't need to be chopped up as much as the usless betty. vote 1 Axial |
