Default ax 10 tamiya fj body chassis mod?

Im a newbie, I have purchased an AX 10 kit and want to put the tamiya fj40 body on it. Need help on how to shorten the wheel base.. for a scale look.

1.9 tires?

You would have to make shorter links and also trim the driveline's. I you do a search you can find some articles on how to make you own links. As far as the drivelines are concerned you just take them apart and cut both halves at the ends where the meet just make sure not to cut to short or the when they extend they will fall apart also if they are to long they will bind up when you suspension compresses. As far as 1.9 tires go that is totally up to you.
