try a little thread locker on the set screw and let it dry

or

upgrade to mip drive shafts

where is it comeing off from. the trans output or is the yoke popping of the pins

zach 08-31-2008 07:06 PM

poping off the pins

jonbo21 08-31-2008 07:07 PM

zip tie

some companys are making retainers that slide over the yokes to prevent them from bending and popping off, you may wanna check on those. save you from haveing to spend a lot of $ if your strapped for cash. If you got plenty of money buy the MIP's. One set for you and One set for me.

any more sugestions?

A much cheaper option are the Traxxas long half shafts. They hold up 100% better than the Axials. I have yet to pop one off the yoke.

I have a set of the 'Pede shafts, and I am unsure if I should install them or get the collars for the stock shafts...:?:

Go with Pede shafts, they work alot better.

The RC4wd Punisher Shafts are expensive......BUT SO WORTH IT.

kirktcashalini 09-03-2008 09:43 AM

do you need to put the metal parts in in order to switch to the stampede shafts? or just the actual plastic shafts themselves and you're good?
