Default 2.2 Ground Clearance

I am curious as too what is the average ground clearance for a 2.2 rig from the ground to the lowest point on the chassis. Currently mine is around two inches with the wheels on. The CG is exelent, and it can stand straight up. I am wondering if I should Go to full droop.(The ground clearance is about 1in fully compressed). Would that be too low? What are you running?

Maybe I am running it a tad low. I cannot go higher as the unique way I put the tranny.(The output is at the top).

1 inch would be too low......unless you just do steep climbs on smooth rocks.
I was at 2 5/16 and that felt low, changed back to 2 3/4 and could definately see an improvement in the terrain I drive. Its probably all opinion(for the most part, I still think 1 inch is too low), and type of terrain. For now I'm happy at 2 3/4 inch. Ive never been in a comp, so my opinion is almost worthless

i agree with barbricboye.......i strive for that perfect mix of gc and cg....i want to be as high off the ground while being as low as possible in cg terms....what a battle huh!!!! i am running a light rig with really heavy wheels so i can have higher clearance but lower cg.

I guess gals are different cause my ground clearance is 3.25. The kitten needs a place to sleep.

I'm running full droop with the rig's belly height at 2 1/8" at rest. At full droop the clearance is 2 3/4" I'm finding this to be a very good combination.

1" is way to low in my opinion. At 2 1/8 mine is a real belly dragger. I can't imagine how much you chassis drags at 1"

my current rig is in a full droop set up and is currently riding at exactly 2 inches. the more and more i hit the rocks i find that it may be a tad too low, so this comin weekend im planin to make spacers to bring my ride height up a lil.

imo 1 inch is gonna be way too low

I run 2.25" in a full droop AX-10. I'm moving that up...it's not enough in some of our comps.
