Default Cobalt motors VS Brushless

Which of these would give me the more tourqe/wheel speed

Iv been advised to stick with 55t and get smaller pinions but i kno i will then loose wheel speed.

I thought sod it ill just get mbetter motors/esc whats the best of the 2?

i was origainlly gona make a hydro motor but i dont think there will be any real benefits.

You'll really enjoy the Cobalt. I have one and I LOVE it. I'm in process of switching all my rigs to Cobalts.

The only brush less motor I will run would have to be sensored like the Novak Goat system. I ran brushless outrunners last year and they were just to jumpy for me. The lower turn brushed motors including the JRH's Cobalt motors are smooth and have lots torque and wheel speed. But brushless outrunners aren't smooth enough for me I wouldn't go there.

I own 2 Cobalt 7T's now...and I love them. Nice thing about them is you can run a larger pinion gear to get yourself some good speed, but still have the nice low speed torque for a good crawl.
