| hs-645 water proof?
does anyone know if the hitec servo hs-645 is waterproof or not? thanks for any info, new at this so i'd like to know before i buy one.

I have the same servo for steering on my GT2 and I don't think it is. However you can protect it from the elements by seal the casing with some silcone, and using a generous amount of servo grease around the spline before you install the servo arm. Somtimes when racing with my buddies we get rain it puts a bit of a damper on the night, so we adapt. lol. Hope this helps.
