| thinking about getting DIG. HELP!!
alright I need some advice and/or questions answered everyone. Got a ARTR on edge chassis, mip shafts, losi shocks and rock claws. I don't do comps yet but I am thinking about getting a dig setup when I can get the money together. 1st question is I have spektrum dx3.0 not the 3.0r or whatever the new one is. Is my radio going to be able to be used at all. I am not going to buy a new radio so if not then no dig for me. It has 3 channels so it should right. being a noob I know what dig is but not real educated on it. What all do I need? I got mip driveshafts so I know I need shortened shaft, dig unit, servo(does it have to be really high torque or no. Which DIG unit are you using and what do you reccomend for my setup. thanks in advance for any help and info guys Last edited by discgolferlee; 09-19-2008 at 07:23 PM. |

i knew i would get that response. I have read a some of the searched threads but am a bit confused as some said dx3.0 will work and some said no it can't since it has 2 position switch.

With the DX3.0, you can have 4WD and locked, or you can have 4WD and freewheel. Its a 3 channel radio but the 3rd channel is only 2 position. |

DX3 toggle switch installation I have this done on my XR3 and it works great.Digger mentioned using it for rear steer,or shifting a 3-speed.It also works great for front dig (4WD,freewheel,brake). | |
