| Help me decide
I'm getting ready to build my first scale crawler. I'm going to go with the RCP Wreckluse Chassis but I'm undecided on axles. Should I go with the TXT, Axail AX-10 or the T-rex 60's? I want a nice looking axle that performs very well. What are some pro's and con's to any of these axle sets? I am new to RC Crawler's so please bare with me, I dont really know what any of these sets are actually capable of. Insight, suggestions, opinions, and comments welcomed. Thanks

The TXT axles are way too big for a that rig in my opinion. The axials are the perfect width and are priced very well and are completely upgradeable. The t-rex axles are absolutely gorgeous ,and are the same width as the axials if I am not mistaken, but they are expensive. Axials about $100 Rc4wd T-rex60 ABOUT $360 with the 4 link mounts So it's basically your choice, if money isnt a problem the the t-rex axles, if you wanna save some green get the axials Last edited by supercrawlerfreak; 09-20-2008 at 01:20 PM. |

i would do the t-rex 60's, just because a "some-what" scale Dana 60 is bad ass. but maybe you can find some highlift axles or maybe some tlt's on ebay cheap. your crawler, your choice. |

Stick with Axial axles the strength alone make it worth it...And under the BIG wreckluse they look great |

If you can get a hold of a set of TLT axle's, It will look awesome(with strength). next in line will be the T-rex, then the AX10 axles. All will work well. But the AX10 will have the most support as far as parts. |

The TLT and T-rex axles dont hold a candle to the AX10 as far as strength... STICK WITH AXIAL AXLES |

Well, I know the T-Rex axles are out due to the pricing. I'm gonna think about it for awhile before I buy a set of axles. Can you do a dig unit on a TLT axle?
