Here is mine, as of about an hour ago...still in the operating room, just taking a dinner break to let my fingers rest. Veteran of crawling, but newbie to r.c. Much harder to work on these things than the real ones, esp. with clumbsy fingers . Cut and bobbed tub, stretched w.b. upgraded to o-ring belts, switched the rear shocks to the front, and cut the new rears (coil and shafts) for more travel...still have to cut a bit more out. Rollcage and skid plates are in the works this week...I fried the electronics putting the chips back in. I hope to be back up and gittin' it as soon as I can get a new chassis sent out.

stock running gear so far... i can't decide how far to go with mods... i'm probably going to tummy tuck it and inboard the shocks for now, i may do a full custom chassis and 4-link with some savage shocks with super soft springs...

Krylon Fusion and Automotive undercoating on the roll cage and skid plates. Moved the controller guages to the dash.

Default My New Nylint 1:6 Scorpion

I joined this Forum after I got my new 1:6. It wasn't long after Christmas Day that I had this thing disassembled and painted.
It's stock other than custom skid plates. I can't wait to try some of the other mods discussed on this forum.

This is MY Scorpion..

Default Soft Top Nylint

My buddy's in blue, mine in black.

still waiting for my upgraded chasis, so I did a funked up repair with steel strap. The soft top is working really nice, no more paint scratches when I roll over!

here is my janky fix. It's ugly, but it'll do untill I get the updated version. Whycouldn't these have been made of metal to start with?

more pics here
