| 1:6 scale Nylint rockcrawler photo gallery Post pics of your nylint 1:6 Jeeps and 1:6 Scorpions EDIT: Message from the Mods: This thread is a pictures only thread. It is a gallery so that people coming in can see what can be done to the Nylint 1:6 crawlers, and to show off your work. If you have questions about someone's truck in here, PM them or look for their buildup thread elsewhere in the 1:6 forum. I want to keep this area free of clutter. If you want to see other examples of clean galleries, check out the clod or small scale section. Also, if you have updated pictures of your truck, simply edit your post instead of creating a new one. Thanks! Last edited by TwistedXT; 03-16-2006 at 10:14 AM. |

heres some "poser" driveway shots. We've got about 30 minutes on film and I'll get that linked here soon. These things will crawl pretty much anywhere you point them. Lots o fun. The only mods I made (if you can call them that) are: - painted roll bar flat black - but after a few rollovers the blue shows thru. - removed the nerf-bars from along the bottom of the rockerpanels - removed the front and rear diff gaurds... they eat up alot of clearance if left on. I may try to relocate the coilovers upper mounting points or remove a few wraps of the coils to soften the springs a little in order to get better flex - but left stock it works great as you can see. I backed the jeep up onto that tire on its own power. And the black RC jeep in the one photo belongs to my nephew. He got it as ToysrUs about a month ago for $50. - Ben warning... these are large pics http://www.photodump.com/direct/ygohome/PICT0088.jpg http://www.photodump.com/direct/ygohome/PICT0089.jpg http://www.photodump.com/direct/ygohome/PICT0090.jpg http://www.photodump.com/direct/ygohome/PICT0091.jpg http://www.photodump.com/direct/ygohome/PICT0092.jpg |

Here are a few posers of mine. Nothing much done to it at this point other than removing the skid plates and step tubes and adding a Mudinyeri Offroad decal! Edit: LOL It looks like we Rubicon owners have a penchant for these little rigs! How does your nephew's RC rig compare to the Nylint? Edit 2: A few more pics in more "natural" surroundings. Here is one of the ones I bought and painted for a friend today. The paint os krylon fusion sating black. the roll bar and sliders are krylon fusion burgundy. I have another one with burgundy body, black sliders and grey roll cage...because I ran out of flippin black and I am in the middle of the wyoming wilderness stuck on a gas drilling rig... Finnaly got my 1:6 in the mail yesterday, it took all my will power to wait the full 18 hours to charge, but it was worth it, these things are fun. So far I only painted the sliders blue, but I plan on painting the rest black to match my 1:1 Pics from today |

Here is a link to some pics of mine. Only mods so far are, moving the rear shocks in and removing the skid plates. The paint is by far the best thing i have done. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/pwrwgn...sRCwheels.html Rockwag91 |
