my old 6 cell split pack is about dead.......(ckrc elite 1500 6 cell) Im running the Novak Rooster crawler esc, and the novak 55turn. 5955 steering and 645 for dig. thinking of upping the volts and going with a 7 cell split with deans connector for tcscrawler...... has anybody made this switch and noticed a difference?(run times, more "kick", etc.) only reason I ask is because I think it will affect one of my wheels turning angle(due to having 4 cells on one side)...... right now the 6cell clears fine with a little room to spare... bottom line: will the positives in power/volts outweigh the negatives(if there are any-mainly steering angle)???? thanks oh, do I have to recycle my old battery or just throw em in a fire?

It wont affect steering angle. I run 8 cells with no problem. It will give the truck a little more snap because of the higher voltage.

cool, thanks didnt think it would make too much of a difference-just wanted to confirm I'd go with 8 cells but I think I read that the rooster esc can only handle 7 cells. Thanks anyway dont have a microwave at the moment, guess ill just eat them un cooked!
