|  Tamiya Hilux High Lift Hi, Im really new to these high quality rc trucks and I could use some help. Im planning on buying a new Tamiya Hilux High Lift. Heres a list of everything im buying. *Tamiya RC Toyota Hilux High Lift - 4x4 *Radio: 4-channel, 2-servo digital proportional R/C unit with electronic speed controller(ESC) with variable forward and reverse function(FutabaAttack 4WD 4Ch Radio) (Mtroniks Viper RV 11 Waterproof ESC System) *Battery: 6-cell flat with standard Tamiya connector (Venom 4600mah 6 cell Flat Battery Pack with Tamiya Connector) *Charger: AC/DC timed or peak for 6-cell 4600mah battery(Venom AC/DC Pro NiCd/NiMH Lipo Charger w/ Power Supply) *4 Mud Slingers 2.2" Hilux Tires Fitted On Correctly Sized Wheels *Full Electronic Waterproofing Is there anything that I could add? I am not planning on spending a whole lot on my first truck so please don't recommend that stupid MFU-2. It alone costs enough to get the Mog Cr-01 and a cheap battery and Radio Controller. And I was also wondering if thes items come with the set. *Paint: PS for Polycarbonate/TS for ABS *Front body *Rear body *k-parts (roll bar) *Sticker a *Sticker b *Metal transfer *Rubber sheet *W-parts (front grill) *P-parts (clear lenses) *T-parts (front windscreen) *D-parts (mirrors) *N-parts (bumpers) *M-parts (license plates) *Metal parts bag B (screws metal parts) The way Tamiya has the site set up confuses the hell out of me. |

The servos that come with the radios aren't going to cut it for steering. You will also want to add a good metal geared high torque servo to the list. Minimum I would suggest would be a HiTec645mg. You will need to buy paint. This is a hard body so any paint that will work on a static model will be fine. Everything else in the ? list comes with it. The other things you plan to buy will work just fine.  | |

| Stick with 1.9 tires, I am running RC4WD Outcroppers on mine. As far as paint just go the hardware store and pick up some Krylon or Rustoleum that you like.... Be sure and post some pics when you get it all assembled.... |

| That's going to be a "cheap" day when you order all that stuff! :-P It will be cool, though. That Toyota High Lift looks incredibly awesome and I don't even like real Toyota trucks. |

| would a Hitec HS-645MG be a good servo? I am not planning on doing a lot of crawling with this truck, its mainly going to be for mud and trail rides. And where would I get stronger steering servos? Or does the HS-645MG cover steering? I just visited a site and it showed servo arms. Do I have to buy these seperately or do they come with the servo? | Ok, do I need a server for steering and a seperate servo for throttle & brakes, and should I use a seperate battery for my servos? I really dont want to go through the trouble of a seperate battery but I want to do everything correctly. |

| You will want to use an aluminum servo arm. The 645 is a very good servo for this truck. The throttle/brakes are controlled by the ESC which uses 1 channel on your radio. You can use 1 of the servos that comes with the radio for shifting, but I would upgrade the steering to the 645 right away. As far as using a receiver pack you can but it is not really needed, I do not use 1 one my high lift. The best mod to do right away is relocating the steering servo up front by the shift servo, the stock steering set-up really sucks... |

| With the Hi lift I would say the alumuinum arm is not necessary, 645 is a good servo, and 2.2's are to big!! Besides that, |

| I decided to change my servo to a Hitec HS-5645MG after reading that they are waterproof. Will it do? |
