Default Unless there's a good reason why not.....

I have been into monster trucks for almost 9 years. I currently have a revo conversion to electric and a 3905 model e-maxx. Both brushless setups. I have owned many others as well.

So now I find myself wanting something a little different but still off road and very capable, but a little more scale and realistic.

At first I had my heart set on the High Lift but that was looks only. The more I read the more I realized they were not good for anything but trail. Then on to the CR01 but still found myself looking for something a little more capable. So after scouring through the boards here I come across the TCS X-Trail for the AX10.

Now I know from RC circles that the AX10 is very capable, then adding the scale type chassis allows me to do a lot for the look and feel I want. Keep in mind this is all recreation and I have no interest at this point in competition.

So that being said this is the route I will take:

TCS X-Trail
AX10 ARTR
High Clearance Links
Novak Goat (tentative)

Possible Future upgrades:
Upgraded Shafts
Dig
4 wheel steering

I am still undecided on a body and what not but we shall see. I am leaning towards the hilux at the moment. I am still undecided as to which 1.9 wheels and tires I want although something from RC4WD seems on the plate.

Anyway I have been enjoying the nice trucks and custom jobs while digging through the site as well. I have a lot to live up to in my build.......

I may decide I want to do comp later, who knows? The problem with RC and me is I want to do it all. Trucks, Planes, Heli's, Tanks, Big Rigs, the works. What can I say, it's an addiction.
