Default fxr, what else?

currently have rooster crawler/55t, dx3r, 645 dig, 5955 steering.....

looking into upgrading my esc and motor. eyeing the tekin fxr. and a 45t HH motor.

can i run a 10cell(2/3) nimh with the fxr?
will i need to get the external BEC?(or does it have one built in like rooster?)
should i get the "programming link" or can i program with the esc alone?

what other escs are good?

I think 10 cells would be pushing it. Tekin recommends a max of "4-9 Cells / 2S Lipo (3S with 35T or higher motor) ".

The FXR does have a BEC, although it is only 3 amps compared to the Rooster's 5 amps. I don't think you'd need an external BEC unless you are planning to run two high power servos.

You can program it without the "HotLink." I don't think you should get it unless you think you really need it. I don't really feel the need for one.
