Default Brushed or brushless

what is better for a crawler, brushed or brushless. Since crawlers don't go fast, what is the benefit of brushless. Also what motor and speed control is the best (and cheapest)?

As far as I can tell this is all personal choice, the brushed from what i'v seen are smoother on take off but that could be the setup. seen alot of brushless speed controls(mamba max) and brushed motors so you have more tuneability, I am sure many people will give you answers or advice to this question I belive it is preferance.
