search works, just takes a little time.

what style of driving are you looking to do.
do you want it to be a comp crawler ?
do you want to be a scale wheeler ?
what size 1.9 or 2.2 ?
here's what i got...
TCS Xtrail.

the storyline and buildup can be seen here...
my new bronco

there are far too many options for anyone to help you answer a question that vast.
help us out a bit

The Gatekeeper Designs GC-2
the Reign R/C Comp Widemouth
the Bender Customs SWX
are great comp chassis' and proven comp winners.

For scale the Reign K2-5 works great with the Axial parts.
The X-trail is great too but I don't prefer it for 2.2 builds, it's better for 1.9s imo.

Wow, the Widemouth seems pretty awesome.

If I am not successful with my droop set up on my stock chassis, I guess I'll have to convert everything over to one of these chassis.

There are some nice direct bolt on tubers around, but if you want to stick with a TVP set up grab an Axial/Bender SWX from your local shop...very nice design.
