Duratrax Ice Charger (80 to 120 used/new) Astro Blinky Balancer (28.00 on ebay) from there any decent 2s lipo pack. i run a 2200 2s on my axial and get about an hr or a bit more on it on my Axial with Rooster system. im in the middle of a scaler build that is Goat powered and uses a 4400 2s. not sure on runtimes, but i suspect a few hrs or more out of it. |

I'm not sure I'd do a cheap lipos or a cheap lipo charger. They're relatively sensitive. I popped a couple of cheap packs quickly. I'd start with a lipo compatible esc, and upgrade later or save your money and buy down the road a little. 8 cell nihm packs on the front axle work great, and this is coming from a dedicated lipo guy.

This comes with balance taps. Best charger you can buy MHO. http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...5&cat=7&page=1 And you can get lipos cheap off ebay. For 2s I run this in my comp rig about 1 1/2 hours run time. W/45t motor http://cgi.ebay.com/7-4V-2000mAh-10C...3A1|240%3A1318 For 3s I got these work great. I run them in my 9lb scaler last about an hour. w/55t motor. http://cgi.ebay.com/Mystery-2200mah-...3A1|240%3A1318 |

yeah thanks for all of you input, i might just go with some 6-8 cell nimh packs instead as mortimer stated also, most of my reason for the lipo is the size, is there any way to form a battery over a servo and down each side with a normal stick pack? Also, what do you guys all think of a Novak GT7 ESC? Ive heard from a few guys they use that but i also heard its a little on the racing side i also stumbled upon this one for some reason... http://cgi.ebay.com/RC-car-truck-bru...ayphotohosting what do you guys think? i am trying to get around having to spend 100 dollars on an esc because im not trying to get into rc THAT far. i figure if i dont spend too much i wont think what i could have bought for my 1:1 scale buggy>.> thanks Last edited by 47willysbuggy; 11-13-2008 at 06:45 AM. |
