Default softening springs

i dont know where i saw this but is it true that you can make springs softer just by putting a torch up to it? i have the ax10 with stock springs should i do this or buy softer springs? im on a LOW $$$

i would try to soften them with a torch, and if it doesnt work out or they are not soft enough, buy softer springs.

ya be careful with a torch. Ur better off just buying a softer set for a few bucks.
