Default Has anyone made a trailer for their crawler?

I think this will apply more to the people with scale crawlers, I'm interested in building a trailer for my CR-01 and was wondering if anyone had any pics or tips on how to go about it?

Many thanks

Some pics of my trailer I made to pull my crawler. Taillights are wired to the truck. Each side has leaf springs to soften the ride.

Two of the guys in our local club did a G wagon build off last year and one of them did up a boat trailer for his.
I just found one thread for it on here:

Canadian Buildoff

Some more photos:

Yes the boat was built from a kit and it works.

Wow those look like alot of work. I have toyed with the idea of building a trailer for a crawler that carried an amplified speaker system with and ipod that could follow the crawler without holding it back too much. Still doing the engineering tho.

stainless rod threaded at both ends for the wheel nuts would be fine

that is unless your feeling the need for over kill and get a clod axle to have a powered trailer

This idea I can see.Making a simmple pop rivet trailer with good ground clearance.Maybe out of 1/2 inch square tube.(like my play room lamp)A clod diff, third esc and my 6 channel.

Great idea. I'll get back on this!
