Pimp Cane...nuff said, if the 2.2 works anything like the super size it will walk over everything in your path.

What type of Comp? Scale or full on Comp 2.2? This will help with chassis selection.

I've been through a pile of chassises, and I like the AKRCC ARES chassis.

Tuber. DMG.

treday619 12-13-2008 07:27 AM

SWX or DNA Slingshot. Either you can't go wrong.

bigflex 12-13-2008 10:24 AM

well it all depends on what you want out of it. 2.2 scale truck, or full out comp. rig. As for tube chassis if you really want a tube rig the wreckless would be good for a 2.2 scale rig, a 2.2 hustler is a great setup for a comp rig. "thumbsup" If your not stuck on getting a tube chassis the the TVP chassis I would run in this order is Slingshot, SWX, GC-2, Shaft-D, Blck widow. The CDW 2.0 looks promising as well.

joes07rr 12-13-2008 01:39 PM

yea guys i wanna do more of a comp rig than anything so you guys say the wreckluse or timberwolf arent the best choice so what to do also would like tuber over just new frame rails and also how do i mount the battery or do i move it to the axles ?????

Buy a GC-2. They are almost "old-school"now and can be found used to save some money. This is one of the most stable ,predictable and durable chassis ever made.

You may find a chassis that will do one thing or the other better, but you won't find one that does everything as well as this one in my opinion.8)
