Default Newb

been lurking around for some time now and since I finally dug all my old R/
C stuff out of storage I figured I would get rid of it all and build a super scale 1:1 of my real rig

My question is, what do you think would be a good starting point? a kit or all from scratch, I can cut/weld/build just about anything and I come from doing bodywork so I'm sure I can cut and bodywork any hardbody, I really want to make this thing super scale tho and this week I started building some tube bumpers for my 1:1

any tips guys?

with any kit all you really are going to use is the axels, tranny, and sometimes the electronics. so my personal fav. would be the wheely king. but the ax10 tranny and electronics is good

ok so what axles would fit well with the 1.9's on the silverado ss body? I would actually lean towards something like the cc-01 to keep IFS just like the 1:1

Grab something like a K2-3L chassis and some TLT axles. You can get a body to match. And go from there That's if you are going 1.9, that would be better for a "Scale" build IMO
